Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Omera attempts to seek Kabish’s forgiveness when past schemes come to light. Taylor gets an idea after discovering Rex’s secret. As Danny and Emily feud, something isn’t quite adding up for Isaac.

Plot[edit | edit source]

Omera Bhaduri grovels to Kabish Bhaduri, who is currently staying with Terry Dawson. However, Kabish is still furious with Omera for allowing Hakeem to get into dealing cocaine, adding that, if word gets out, it could compromise his position as a GP. Hakeem finds himself being alienated by his family and argues with Nadiya Bhaduri for getting involved in things that don't concern her, leaving Nadiya feeling completely hopeless. Omera later consoles Nadiya, though with ambiguous intentions. Hakeem tells Danny Walker that he will no longer be dealing cocaine, leaving Danny furious; Hakeem later publicly reveals not only that he has been dealing cocaine, but also that he threatened to out Carl Dawson as gay, to get back at his parents for abandoning him. Meanwhile, Emily Walker and Danny try to conceal the truth, but Isaac Walker suspects that something is going on. Anaya Bhaduri visits Emily to tell her she knows what has happened; Isaac overhears Anaya telling Emily not to do something she will regret, raising Isaac's suspicions further. After learning that Hakeem is going to stop dealing Danny cocaine, Emily takes it upon herself to steal some from Hakeem. Rex Hardman and Taylor Johnson open up to one another about their fathers growing up; Rex believes that fathers never leave without good reason. When Taylor gets home, he looks through old photo albums and finds a picture of his own father. Elsewhere, Glinda Hardman is spooked by the picture posted through her door and regretfully informs Owen Young that Jake Hardman is watching them, unaware that it is actually Millie Campbell.
