Synopsis[edit | edit source]

Rex gets drawn into Jake’s world, and Glinda begins to worry. Omera and Nadiya are close to getting what they want. Emily returns home, but can the Walkers return to normal?

Plot[edit | edit source]

Glinda Hardman continues to be protective over Rex Hardman, but attempts to trust him when he states that he is only meeting up with Millie Campbell. After meeting with Millie, however, Rex goes to see Jake Hardman. Jake takes Rex out with some friends, and Rex is shocked – but intrigued – when he watches them mug a pedestrian, and later agrees to get involved in their plan for revenge on Owen. Glinda sees Millie and asks about Rex's whereabouts; Millie states that she hasn't seen him for hours. Rex arrives home and is given the third degree by Glinda; Rex ends up pushing Glinda, and runs up to his bedroom. Omera Bhaduri brings Nadiya Bhaduri home, and is thrilled when Kabish Bhaduri suggests moving back home and taking things day-by-day. Hakeem Bhaduri later sarcastically congratulates Omera on her performance. Taylor Johnson visits Nadiya and brings her chocolates, leaving Nadiya feeling hopeful of a relationship. However, Taylor is clearly still jealous of Rex and Millie after seeing the two of them in the park together, and Nadiya once again feels crushed when she sees Taylor and Millie talking in the street. Emily Walker returns home to an abundance of support from her neighbours, but the family are finding it difficult to return to normal. Hakeem secretly visits Emily and informs her that he knows that she is pregnant, before asking if it is his baby; Emily refuses to answer. Elsewhere, Polly Campbell makes plans for a ladies' night-themed birthday party, and Owen Young tells her that she can use the restaurant.
