Plot[edit | edit source]

Glinda Hardman ushers Rex Hardman out of the kitchen and urges Jake Hardman to keep away from her; Jake acts apologetic about their past and states that he wants to fresh start. Sue Morton comes home and is furious to see Jake. Meanwhile, Polly Campbell demands answers from Owen Young after hearing Millie Campbell's accusation; Owen makes it clear to Polly that he is not having an affair with Glinda, but Millie shows Polly the pictures she had taken. Owen is furious to learn that Millie took those pictures and put the note through the letterbox, but soon relieved as he now believes Jake isn't here. Owen explains that Jake is Glinda's abusive ex-husband. Jake ended up in jail for possession, and it was Owen who reported him to the police to free Glinda, and he is now, as Owen believes, soon to be released. Millie apologises, but reveals that Jake has already been released, and has been in contact with Rex. Owen and Polly rush over to Glinda's house, where Owen comes face-to-face with Jake. Jake lies that he is only here to make things up to Glinda, before leaving. Rex and Millie meet up; Millie urges Rex to realise that Jake is dangerous. Elsewhere, a delighted Taylor Johnson watches his father's sermon, and talks to him afterwards, introducing himself as Rex. Their talk is interrupted when Victor is joined by his wife, Aisha Johnson, and their 13 year-old daughter Kassie Johnson. Taylor is horrified to learn that his father has another family, and rushes home. Taylor breaks down on his doorstep, and is cradled by Desiree.
